Students

We exist to partner with parents to help students grow in the gospel, connect in community, and multiply through missions.

We partner with parents to help them fulfill their biblical role of being the primary spiritual leaders of their students. Scriptures like 1 Thessalonians 2:11-12 drive this desire, “For you know, like a father with his children, we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.” We partner through good communication, family fellowships, and parent involvement in our student ministry events. We also equip parents by offering training events, books, and other resources.

We share Paul’s desire, as expressed in Ephesians 3:18 and 19, that the students in our ministry “may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

We help students grow in the gospel by providing biblical teaching, Christ-centered times of worship through song, purposeful prayer, and student involvement in our worship gatherings.

We desire for our students to experience authentic biblical community as the early church did in Acts 2:42-47. We offer community groups and discipleship groups that feature fellowship, encouragement, and accountability.

We want our student ministry to own the ministry of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:20 says, “Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” We are passionate about helping students to own their God given identities as ambassadors to their campuses, communities, and spheres of influence. We cultivate missional identities in our students by connecting them to service opportunities, training them on how to share the gospel, providing opportunities for regional/international mission experiences, and ensuring that there is a evangelistic thread running through all of our programming.
